Becky is a real estate broker for ERA LIVE MOORE in Wake Forest. She serves the home-selling and home-buying needs of clients throughout the Triangle with a concentration in Wake Forest, Rolesville, North Raleigh, Youngsville, Creedmoor, Lake Royale and Louisburg, North Carolina.
Growing up in Laurel, Maryland, Becky met her husband Shawn while they were in middle school. They married and had three children Grace, Austin and Gabbie (now teenagers) all before she was 27 years old.
They moved to North Carolina for Shawn’s job with AT&T in and settled in Wake Forest.
Becky appreciated the slower pace of life, the sense of community and the resources and programs available for her children, especially her youngest daughter with special needs.
Shawn’s hobby and passion was lacrosse. He helped start CYLC as their youth Director and was coach for the Carolina Youth Lacrosse Club (CYLC), a nonprofit sports organization. Becky got involved too, serving as president of the CYLC Board of Directors, its communications director and planned its community service projects.
In May 2021, Becky lost her husband Shawn who passed away from sudden heart failure. He is missed everyday by his family, friends and lacrosse players who learned more than just sports from Coach Gilmore.
